Theme Thursday: Green

Chasing butterflies
Till the end of the rainbows
And I don't know where I stand
Or when I'll be gone

My dream is in my hands
But I dream it anyway

Waking in the dawn
Watching the stars as they fade
All what's left is a memory
And I elude

My dream is in my hands
But I dream it anyway

Colors explode
And all I see is black
Have I gone blind?
Usher me to the light

My dream is in my hands
But I dream it anyway

Cross the world in your sleep
Let your soul meet mine
I'm done with being strong
Let me cry in your arms

My dream is in my hands
But I dream it anyway

Desert extends
The sun is burning me
Pursuing a mirage
Of a green land
Far far away
It may not be true
But I'm going anyway

here you write as you always have...with your heart....and this gift of emotion that you give me is making me so silent, listening to it over and over.
Like a song.
The reeds of the Nile are swaying beneath the date palms, while the wooden boats swaddle through...the pyramids smile in the evening skies.
Thankyou Maha!
this post is really beautiful!

"My dream is in my hands, but I dream it anyway". Brilliant! Dream we must, see futures brighter than what hands hold. Tomorrow our fingers may splay wide, grow length, grasp more. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Add your two cents. I look forward to getting to know you.
