Impressions

And then dreams
Long and persistent
Take me off to you beloved you
Not unlike when all in me turns cold
I should find life vigorous and strong
Ringing the bells
Of my soul’s dingy door
Asking permission
To let me be again

And in the day the sun comes shining
So tender in me you melt
Leaving only
An impression of warmth

55-The Cage

Fidgeting between
Discordant tones
Lashing me
With expectations
To be something
And I envy the space
For its inexistence
And I push a thumb
Into my ear
I can’t hear
But that doesn’t make me deaf

I peel the pictures
Off my memory
Incinerated
Before me
Light light
Flying
Within the bars of the cage

Pendulum

Wise man sits on the top of a tower
Saying tears turn to pearls
Mine came crashing at my feet
And now I’m bleeding

Evil and good
Wrestled tonight on my threshold
I locked the door
Sank under the quilts and pretended
I was deaf

Politicians and Presidents
Movies and celebrities
Jewels and glitter
I just squeeze myself between the cracks
Hanging photos on dusty walls
A girl who wore pink dreams
Torn at the edges
Last seen
Two years ago

I tiptoe so I wouldn’t’ disturb
Extremes fighting within me
On my way to the candy shop
Just around the corner
Of yesterday
At the end
I am only a sack of
Twisted nerves

There Were Never Any Rats

Trapped behind a window
Strewn on the dirty floor
My heart seeks  blankets
Of the sky’s velvet black

Yearning as they are
Beyond my tiny fingers
Beating underneath
The words unsaid
Their pulse now causes me
A daunting sore throat
That forces me to hold my breath
Halt then talk
And I don’t know  what they are
Nor can I call them a name
Beyond description?
Ambivalent thoughts

And they keep my windows closed
Afraid of the rats’ scratching
Seething as they see me
Breaking their precious laws
I hold my  protests
And then unleash them
Small pebbles
Breaking their mighty glass walls
And I’ll see them screaming
Secretly smiling
Until they come
And close the door

The day is impending
Still not scripted in my plans
When I’ll break my shields of silence
Pulverize their lands
Scatter them on the moon
And sing
“There were never any rats”

Metallic Paints

Hours giving way to timelessness
Dreadful present  swallows me
Tomorrow and yesterday
A shadow and reflection
Never to be felt again
With darkness suffused
And now they fade

You threw a stone
Broke the window
Almost stealing my heartbeat
Towing me to underlying existence
Beneath their metallic paints

Those dreams our dreams
They hide and breathe
Offsprings of their prohibited
Our never to be real screams

Let’s seek alternative shelter
Beyond what they can reach
Listen! Their sirens
Have come here too
Where else to go Where else to go?

Those dreams our dreams
Are but forged fancies
To soothe ourselves by lies
They caught us long ago
Behind their metallic-painted bars

55-Reruns

Tick Tock
My present is passing
As I stand here alone
Watching from a distance
Reruns of the past
Tears
Break my shields
And you slip through the holes
Making me sink in you
Drowning my soul
The scars are fading
Only me and you remain
The pains are  aching
Only me and you remain.

Waiting Hours

Beyond me
Beholding me
Three walls
And a  single door
Never shall be but closed
A brain
Your breaths
Your fidgets
Slowly time flows
As you are
And I am
Dissolving into air
The thoughts
Of words
Quickening your heart alone
As you sit
And I stand
Withdrawn
From your heart
In mine
I hold the secret of it all
Oh , love now
Wind down
For nothing can hurt us
Not  anymore

Dancing on Spider Webs ـــ Poem

The untrodden places in the mind
Where dreams flourish still
Imprisoned birds in cages
Of crude reality
Freed by the hour’s fantasies
Where I rule and cannot be ruled
World as fragile as
Spider webs

Wounded is the soul
From yesterday’s slap
In anguish she ruminates
Of retaliation and striking back
But no power left in her
To even sigh
Away, she runs away
In denial of
The irrefutable past

Apology

In my latest post which was a poem I accidently deleted, I wrote that it was written by my 12 year-old cousin. Sorry to say that it was written by me when I was 12; I believed that all the stuff I wrote back then were real bad that's why I was afraid to say it was mine. I am very sorry for doing that and hope that you'd accept my apology :)
Here's the poem:

In love with you
Without any plan it comes
And I start thinking of you
My soul it haunts
No I can't let go
I see you whenever I close my eyes
I know I fell my heart never lies
I hear your voice whispering in my ears
Erasing all my fears
In your touch I feel so secure
For all my pains you are the cure

They say there is no magic
Then tell me what love can be
In every place I see your eyes
In your eyes I see me
On our hearts it put a spell
So simply in it we fell
It was so strong
I could not resist

I lived every song
My dreams I felt

I don't care for the others
They don't feel the fire of us the lovers
I'm not afraid of tomorrow
As long as you are with me
I have my light to follow
You are my destiny
You are the one my life is about
I love you

I don't have a doubt
You are my wildest fancy
Better you are true
You came and stole my heart
I didn't know what to do
Then I found myself
Falling in love with you

Timelessness

In a spaceship
Faster than light
Time ceases to be

Ageless now
Thoughts intertwine
And will we ever meet again?

What do you think
When you are trapped
In a hurricane?
What do you feel
When you can't escape?

Squeaking rats
Just outside the window
Keep it close
And suffocate

Images communicate
Themselves to me
and I can't verbalize
What you are
So i condemn you
And you are not
You are naught
But still you insist
I'm just a lousr painter
I'm just a bad writer

One more sand grain
Still lost
In the whirlwind
Of timelessness

Again

Within us, everything was doomed to eternal silence; stilling the sound of blood if it ran in our veins and hushing those desperate screams of life as it ruthlessly strangled it. We lost hope, and with hope, we lost everything.
You whispered to me that pain has infinity to it, ephemeral as the glistening of masks. But I could hold happiness not a moment longer than I could hold the rain. Again I found myself thinking of you. And again I found myself wondering. I never touched you, so couldn't you be a hallucination? But I remembered you were as untouchable as my own soul, yet I couldn't deny its existence.
You said I was a drop in the ocean, but I was an ocean in a drop.
You chose to jump to the world of two dimensions and I couldn't stop you.
Behind the walls of a painting, my love resides

Free of Thought

I hear the rhythm
Of your heartbeats
Eerie whispers
Those won’t but stay
And I pray I pray
That you shall fade
But still
I hold on

I line you now
Within my head
And write you
A thousand words
You will never read
But still
I see your eyes
Devouring yourself
Through my own

I touched you once
And wept forever
Condemned you then
To be a dream
But still
You are
Too real for surreality

To Be

Doublethink
The right hemisphere
Contradicts with that
On the left and whence born
Is your head
Two eyes see in black
And white images
Collide double vision
Is blinding you
Forever see the world
In grey

Rectify.
The mistake that is
You wrong from head
To toe search
For answers within
Questions opening
Lost in the million
Facts all are true

Elude.
The halo around your
Soul ever muffling
The voices of others reducing
Them to useless whisper you
Often choose not
To hear

Delete.
Yourself is no individual
Smash your skull to
Be part of a greater
Entity
We are all one
One
One
Big lie and you will
 Believe

Figured I couldn't be away for too long so I wrote this poem that perfectly describes my  day, my life I mean

Farewell Fornever

How I wish to recoil back to my dark solitude and let my eyes bleed for eternity. But alas! I am out of blood. And never again shall I wish for loneliness; it's embedded in my core. And what is it to be seen beyond the clouds but your face?

You never left me; a hidden fourth dimension to my existence.

Imperceptible

They never feel

Will never feel

The immortal  symphony of love

Breaching the sky

Out of sight is never out of mind

Farewell fornever my dear

Theme Thursday: The Road Had No Signs

The road,
It has no signs
Trapped in a twilight
You walk
Shadow of a sun
Long gone

 When your lungs close in
Tell me
And I’ll breathe for you

My colors
They Dance
In your blankness
Oozing from
Unseen wounds
You try to fight
Find no strength
So you dance with them too

When your lungs close in
Tell me
And I’ll breathe for you

The words
You don’t know
It doesn’t matter
You’ll sing along
And I’ll sing with you

When your lungs close in
Tell me
And I’ll breathe for you

The sun
It shines
 “Our sign!”
I cry
On the ground
You falter
I scream
There comes no voice
I search
In your heart
No blood
It’s all in my veins
Embedded within me

My lungs
They are closing in
Will you breathe
For me too?

55-The Beggar

A shot in the heart
Bereft
Of life
Footsteps on the snow
Wind wafts
And they slowly fade

Empty of feeling
Dreaming of being
A distorted soul
Untouched by joy
Longing to sleep
And to drift away

Screams
Masked by silence
Disconnected
A rootless tree
Craves belonging
And just
Drowns in darkness
Begging for light

Magpie Tales: Draining Out of Life

Blood
Creeps in veins
And retrieves
Those hearts as they beat
They drain out of life

Hollow silhouettes
Crossing the light of the sun
As they pass
A thousand thoughts
A thousand feelings
A thousand words
Reduced into one
Muffled screams
Silenced by fear
So turn a deaf ear
And don't say a thing

Feel the innards of your soul
Crumbling down
And you try to hide
You are dead inside
Going through life
But not living it
A ghost you've become

And in those shades
I perpetually wait
For the voids
To be reassumed
For the dead
To be exhumed
